Spring has sprung!

The shop has been busy as ever this spring and numerous new projects have been in the pipeline. Here's a look at some of the recent commissions.

A unique creation using inherited diamonds and 18ct Gold on Silver

These stones, belonging to the client, were set into rings and are designed to let in as much light as possible.

In other news we have recently begun selling a new collection on the charming gift site 'notonthehighstreet.com' and have recieved a fantastic response.

'Notonthehighstreet.com' was born out of a passion for unique and personalised gift ideas that could not be found in the everday high street shop and has created a platform for small creative businesses to showcase beautiful and original products of exceptional quality. Not forgetting to mention that the website featured us this week in their blog about Partner Services Manager, Nell's big wedding plans; she wrote

''I spent a long time finding the right jeweller- I'd heard of Sophie at Honeybourne Jewellery before as i used to curate jewellery exhibitions, and came across her shop and very cute studio in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight...Her enamel collection was absolutely the look i wanted.I have a late 1940's wedding dress, which has slightly uneven lace around the neckline; very simple and organic. Sophie's jewellery is not too structured and is influenced by nature ...It's pretty and feminine but very sophisticated, in fact, exactly how I'd like to look on my wedding day! To be honest, I think my necklace is going to upstage my dress!''

The full write up can be viewed here.

The collection, created in silver and pastel coloured enamels, was inspired by the sweets 'mini eggs' and evoke fresh, spring tones in the classic pod.

Below is a sneak preview of some of the photos taken for notonthehighstreet by the lovely Annie soon to be on our own site. Until next time!
